    Retainer (2) - Install

  2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  3. Starter Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Install the starter (1) through the wheel well.

    Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    NOTE:

    Before installing starter, install the upper starter bolt, installing both the starter and bolt together.

    Starter Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Starter Solenoid Cable (3) - Install

  8. Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  9. Wiring Harness Conduit Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Starter Heat Shield (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Components removed for graphic clarity.

    Engage the starter heat shield (2) into the retainer (1).

  12. Starter Heat Shield Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Module (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Chassis Wiring Harness (4) - Install

  15. Install the positive battery cable retainers to the chassis wiring harness front bracket.
  16. Chassis Front Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt - Front (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  17. Chassis Front Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt - Rear (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  18. Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
  19. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
  20. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (9C1 / 5W4) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
