Shift Control Cable: Installation
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation

- Install the cable through the cowl and carpet. Install the cable grommet and the bolts in the cowl. Tighten the grommet bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the cable (4) at the shift control assembly (3). See Fig 2.
- Install shift control cable onto floor shift control. See Fig 3.
- Install the cable at the transaxle cable brackets (1). Install the cable at the transaxle selector lever (2). See Fig 2.
- Adjust the cable. See SHIFT CONTROL CABLE under ADJUSTMENTS.
- Install the center console. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in appropriate SHIFT INTERLOCK SYSTEMS article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS.
