Strut Assembly: Reassembly
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Reassembly

- Place strut in strut compressor with Holding Fixture (J-30413-20) clamped on shaft. Install spring in correct position, and move strut upright. Install upper locking pin. Install upper insulator, spring seat, bearing and strut mount.
- Tab on upper spring seat must face out from centerline of vehicle (same direction as steering knuckle mounting flange). Install alignment rod, and compress strut until shaft threads are visible. Install washer and nut. Remove holding fixture from strut shaft. Tighten nut to specification while holding shaft. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
