2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal & Installation

  1. Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See ZONE 7  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
  2. Remove driver seat. Remove carpet retaining sill trim molding. Fold back carpet to access SDM. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip from SDM connector. See Fig 1. Disconnect SDM connector. Remove SDM mounting fasteners. Remove SDM.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten driver seat mounting nuts and SDM fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system. See ZONE 7  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
