Fuel Injection Control Module: Installation
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation

NOTE:
Proceed to step 8, if installation of the FICM mounting bracket is not required.
- Install the FICM mounting bracket bolts through the support plate while holding the radiator in a forward position. See Figure.
- Loosely install both of the FICM mounting bracket bolts into the FICM mounting bracket. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the radiator upper mounting brackets and bolts. See Figure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the upper hood latch support bolts. See Figure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the SIR forward discriminating sensor connector.
- Enable the SIR system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS.
- Install the hood close-out filler panel. Install the hood close-out filler panel push-pin retainers. See Figure.
- Loosely install all of the FICM mounting bolts while ensuring that the FICM rubber isolators and spacers remain in position. See Fig 1. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the FICM connector. See Figure.
- Install the Front Bumper Fascia.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
