Compass Calibration
Compass is self-calibrating. If CAL symbol is displayed on Driver Information Center (DIC). Drive vehicle in circles at a speed of less than 5 MPH for 3 complete revolutions. CAL symbol should turn off. If CAL symbol turned off, calibration is complete. If CAL symbol did not turn off, compass must be calibrated manually using following procedure:
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
- Press MODE button until compass/temperature mode is displayed.
- Press and hold RESET button for about 10 seconds, or until CAL symbol is displayed.
- Release RESET button. Start and drive vehicle in circles at a speed of less than 5 MPH for 3 complete revolutions. When CAL symbol is no longer displayed, calibration procedure is complete.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
