Throttle Body: Installation

NOTE: Identification number is stamped on throttle body. Use identification number to order replacement components.
  1. To install, reverse removal procedure using new gasket. Tighten throttle body retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Refill cooling system (if drained). See COOLING SYSTEM  .
  2. If installing a new Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, ensure IAC pintle length setting is adjusted before installation. See IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE  .
