Drive Unit Replacement

2002 Honda Civic SiSECTION Drive Unit Replacement

  1. Remove the left rear pillar (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - PILLAR AREAS ) and headliner (see HEADLINER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Disconnect the 2P and 8P connectors (A) from the drive unit (B).

  3. Close the tailgate, then remove the nut and support strut (C).
  4. Remove the mounting bolts and drive unit (A).

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
