Window Position Switch Test

2002 Honda Civic SiSECTION Window Position Switch Test

  1. Remove the sliding door panel (see SLIDING DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the window position switch (B).

  3. Check for continuity between the window position switch 2P connector No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.
    NOTE: Do not touch the sliding door while the window is moving.
    • There should be continuity with the sliding door window closed.
    • There should be no continuity with the sliding door window opened about 3.9 in. (100 mm).
  4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
