Installation Procedure
- NOTE:
The spring/insulators must be installed in the correct location. Note the location upon removal of the spring/insulator.
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Insulator (3) - Install [2x]
- Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Insulator (2) - Install
- Automatic Level Control Air Compressor (1) - Install
- Connect the wiring harness retainers as necessary.
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Nut (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
Automatic Level Control Module (1) - Install
Automatic Level Control Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube Fitting (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Slightly pull on each line to ensure proper seating is obtained.
Connect the electrical connectors and install the wiring harness retainers as necessary. (1, 2, 3)
Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube (1) - Install

Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Inlet Tube (1) - Install
- Automatic Level Control Air Compressor Tube Clip (2) - Install
Remove the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve cap (1).
- Install CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator to the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve (2) and set the regulator on the nitrogen tank to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
- Using CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator, open the valve on the pressure gage to fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
- Using CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator and the shop nitrogen tank, fill the automatic level control air supply reservoir to 16 Bar (232 PSI).
- Close the pressure gauge valve and remove CH-52667 Air Spring Inflator from the automatic level control air supply reservoir.
- Install the automatic level control air supply reservoir air valve cap (1) and tighten. Fastener Specifications .
- Partially lower the vehicle, but DO NOT let the wheels touch the ground.
- Using GDS2 tool, use short-term inflate to increase pressure to the air springs:
- Front: 6 Bar (87 PSI)
- Rear: 5 Bar (73 PSI)
- Using GDS2, verify automatic level control air supply tank pressure is at 16 Bar (232 PSI), if not repeat steps 17- 22.
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- After installation, program the automatic level control module. Control Module References
- Verify the vehicle leveling system is out of service mode and has returned to normal operation. Clear any stored DTC codes if needed.
- Install the spare tire and wheel assembly.
- Start the vehicle and allow to return to normal ride height.
- With the vehicle off the hoist and on flat level ground, inspect the trim height. Trim Height Inspection

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
