Explanation
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) activates the Emergency mode function in the event of certain malfunctions so that any damage is not made worse, resulting in complete transmission breakdown. The Transmission Control Module (TCM) can activate the function in 5 different stages, depending on the severity of the malfunction.
All 5 steps are included by:
-Adaptation function is blocked.
-The lock-up function is blocked.
-Slip lock-up function is blocked.
-Neutral check function is blocked.
