Ordering software for remote controls
Two actions can be carried out by ordering and downloading this software:
- 1. Add remote control This can be carried out when a new remote control and PIN code is available
- 2. Remove remote control. This can be carried out when all remaining remote controls are available, as the remaining memory positions for the remote controls must be established before erasing.
Warning! This software must not be ordered if the upper electronic module (UEM) (rear view mirror) is replaced but not reloaded with the correct software for the upper electronic module (UEM) again.
Order software for the remote control. Software Downloading
Download the software into the control module after ordering. To add or remove a remote control, load the software into the control module. See8691259.
If a new remote control has been added, the function should be checked.
Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored.
