- For additional information, refer to Fig 1 to select the correct compass zone setting for your geographical location.
- Press and hold the MODE button until VAR appears on the display. Release the MODE button.
- Momentarily press the MODE button to increase the zone increment by one. Set the zone according to the map.
NOTE:
After a few seconds, the compass exits the VAR mode if the button is no longer pressed.
