  1. PC1 DATA LINK DIAGNOSTICS TEST 
    • Key in ON position.
    • Carry out the data link diagnostics test.
    • Is system passed obtained? 

    Yes  : The network test passed. If a single module NO RESPONSE/NOT EQUIPPED, RETURN to the Symptom Chart for the module in question and DIAGNOSE voltage and ground circuits.

    If the module in question voltage and ground circuits are OK, GO to SYMPTOM CHART . If NO RESPONSE/NOT EQUIPPED from the PCM is reported, refer to INTRODUCTION - GASOLINE .

    No  : If high speed controller area network (CAN) circuit faults; all electronic control units no response/not equipped, GO to PINPOINT TEST N .

    If medium speed CAN circuit faults; all electronic control units no response/not equipped, GO to PINPOINT TEST O .

    If no response from the diagnostic tool, GO to PINPOINT TEST P .

    If the module in question is no response/not equipped, GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
