Display and Control Unit, Climatronic

The Climatronic Control Module (J255) and the A/C Control Head (E87) are one component that cannot be disassembled.

Perform the replace control module function, a basic setting and an adaptation"A/C compressor first start" either in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions when a new Climatronic control module display (E87) and a Climatronic control module (J255) are installed.

Removing

- Remove the A/C and heater controls trim, (Golf 2009).






- Remove the bolts - arrows - (9 +/- 1.3 Nm) and the Climatronic A/C display control head.

- Disconnect the connectors from the Climatronic A/C display control head.

Installing

Perform the replace control module function, a basic setting and an adaptation"A/C compressor first start" either in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions when a new Climatronic control module display and a Climatronic control module are installed.

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the tightening specification 9 +/- 1.3 Nm for the screws.
