Removing and installing securing spring for locking cable

Removing
Remove center console and extension.





- Lift spring slightly at the top -arrow B- and pull locking cable out of mounting bracket.
- Disengage spring -arrow A- from retainer lug -arrow C- and lift out.

Installing





- Insert spring from above -arrow B- and engage under retaining lug -arrow C-.
- Align spring so that it lies level in groove -arrow A-.
- Lift spring slightly at the top -arrow B- and insert locking cable in mounting bracket.
- Install central console and extension.
