Installing
- Fit drive plate with shim -1- and washer -2- onto crankshaft.
- Insert at least 3 old securing bolts and tighten to 30 Nm.
- Check dimension -a- at three points and calculate average.
Specification: approximately 12.3 mm
If the specifications are exceeded or not obtained:
- Remove drive plate again and fit appropriate shim -1-.
Note: Only one shim of the appropriate thickness may be used.
If the specification is attained:
- Insert new securing bolts and tighten by hand.
- Tighten securing bolts to 60 Nm and then turn 90° (1/4 turn) further (turning further can be done in several stages).
