The Engine Control Module (ECM) controls fuel injection, the throttle valve control module, oxygen sensor control, ignition, knock control, EVAP canister purge regulator valve, engine speed limitation via fuel injectors and fuel pump relay, camshaft adjustment and On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
