Central Locking And Convenience Systems, Assembly Overview
1 Coupling station
- Installation position: Lower A-pillar covered by trim in footwell
- Removing A-pillar lower trim
2 Door control unit, FR
- For convenience system only
- Integrated into window electric motor
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Front door window, removing
- Window regulator motor or assembly carrier with window regulator, removing.
3 Door Lock, FR
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Remove door lock.
4 Coupling station
- Installation position: B-pillar
- Removing B-pillar lower trim
5 Door control unit, RR
- For convenience system only
- Integrated into window electric motor
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Assembly carrier.
- Window regulator motor or assembly carrier with window regulator.
6 Door lock, RR
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Removing door lock.
7 Motor for fuel tank lid unlock-V155-
- Installation position: Under C-pillar trim
- To remove, the trunk trim must be detached first of all up to wheel house
- Can be removed with special socket insert T 10010
8 Tailgate lock
- Bolted to tailgate
- Removing:
- Removing tailgate trim
- Remove tailgate lock.
9 Tailgate lock actuator
- Bolted to tailgate
- Can be removed with special socket insert T 10010
10 Door lock, RL
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Removing door lock.
11 Coupling station
- Installation position: In area of rear roof carrier, covered by roof trim
- Removing roof trim
12 Anti-theft alarm horn
- Installation position: In area of C-pillar covered by C-pillar trim
13 Door control unit, RL
- For convenience system only
- Integrated into window electric motor
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Assembly carrier.
- Window regulator motor or assembly carrier with window regulator.
14 Door lock, FL
- Door lock is secured to assembly carrier
- Electric central locking is integrated into door lock module
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Remove door lock.
15 Coupling station
- Installation position: B-pillar
- Removing B-pillar lower trim
16 Controls
- Installed in door trim
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
17 Door control unit, FL
- For convenience system only
- Integrated into window electric motor
- Removing:
- Removing door trim
- Assembly carrier.
- Window regulator motor or assembly carrier with window regulator.
18 Aerial for radio remote control
- Under left A-pillar trim
- Removing:
- Removing A-pillar trim
19 Coupling station
- Installation position: Lower A-pillar, covered by trim in footwell
- Removing left A-pillar lower trim
20 Central module
- Bolted to bracket on steering column under instrument panel
- To remove, remove lower steering column trim first
- Comfort system control module under carpet left front floor
21 Trunk lock
- Contact switch for ATA
- Installation position: In lock carrier
- Removing trunk lock.
