Function test:
- Switch on ignition.

EPC warning lamp must light up.

If EPC indicator lamp does not light up when ignition is switched on:
- Check instrument cluster and EPC warning lamp as follows.

If EPC warning lamp does not light up when ignition is switched on, continue test as follows:
- Start engine and let run at idle:

EPC warning lamp must go out after one second.

If EPC warning lamp does not go out:
- Check DTC memory, repair any malfunctions and then erase DTC memory.
