Location: The Tiptronic switch is integrated into the printed circuit board which is located in the selector lever cover.

It consists of hall sensors which are activated by a magnet (arrow) located on the sliding strip cover-2-.

If malfunctioning, first ensure that the magnet (arrow) is securely attached to the cover strip sliding cover -2-. Replace the cover strip if necessary. The selector mechanism cover with integrated printed circuit may only be replaced once the wiring has been checked.

On models with a multi-function steering wheel, the buttons on the steering wheel along with the wiring connections must also be checked.
