Front Camber

2003 Volkswagen GTI (1J1) V6-2.8L (BDF)SECTION Front Camber

Front axle camber, adjusting

If a value lies outside the tolerances, check trim height and balance if necessary.

Camber cannot be adjusted

Only by moving the subframe is it possible to change the camber slightly.

- Loosen bolts -1- and -2-.
- Move subframe to equalize camber on both sides.
- Check caster; caster can also change when moving subframe.

The caster angle can change when the subframe is moved!
- Then check the caster angle afterward.
- Secure the subframe with new bolts.
