Requirements
- Voltage supply and fuses OK
- "Terminal 15 on" required to initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD) (ignition switched on)
NOTE:
- If the display remains blank, check the VAG1551 voltage supply
See "Electrical Wiring Diagrams.
- Additional operating instructions can be obtained by pressing the VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) "HELP" button.
- The -> button is used to advance through the program sequence.
- The "PRINT" button is used for switching on the printer (lamp in button lights up).
- Connect VAG 1551 scan tool. VAG 1551 Scan Tool Connecting
- Switch ignition on.
- Switch printer on with "PRINT" button (lamp in button lights up).
- Press button -1- to select "Rapid data transfer".
