Basic Setting (function 04)
Since the automatic vertical aim control system cannot be manually adjusted, the basic setting procedure must be performed in order to adjust the headlights.
DTC memory must be checked after the headlights have been adjusted. The procedure described here must therefore always be observed.
- Connect VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST), select operating mode 1 "Rapid data transfer", switch ignition on and enter address word 55 for "automatic vertical headlight aim control system".
