Output Diagnostic Test Mode


NOTE:
- The components displayed in the Output Diagnostic Test Mode can differ depending upon the equipment. For example on vehicles without ATA there will be no step "1" as listed in the table below.
- The Output Diagnostic Test Mode activates the following components in the stated sequence:







Special tools and equipment
- VAG 1551 Scan Tool or vehicle system tester VAG 1552 with cable VAG 1551/3
- Adapter set VAG 1594
- Diode test lamp VAG 1527
- Wiring diagram

Work sequence
- Connecting Scan Tool. Scan Tool Connecting and Initial Checks
- Initiating On Board Diagnostic (OBD). Scan Tool Connecting and Initial Checks

Select function XX


- Operate Scan Tool taking into account the information on the display:
- Input 03 for "Output Diagnostic Test Mode" function.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key from ignition lock.

- Confirm with -Q- key.

Output Diagnostic Test Mode ->


Perform press button individual tests: see table.
Output Diagnostic Test Mode can be terminated by pressing the -C- key.

- Press -> key.

If a component does not function:
- Continue Output Diagnostic Test Mode to the end.
