Work Procedure

This procedure describes re-programming the engine control module (ECM) and, if necessary, replacing the front oxygen sensor. However, some affected vehicles may not require re-programming of the ECM, which will be made apparent during the checking process.

- VAG 1788/10 engine speed adjuster
- 3337 tool
