The illustrated fluid capacity chart covers all vehicles for 1998 and 1999. To prevent overfilling at oil changes, add approx. 1/2 qt. less than capacity, start engine, let run until engine operating temperature is approx. 60°C (140°F), switch ignition OFF, wait approx. 3 minutes, check dipstick, fill to full mark as indicated on dipstick (may be more or less than 1/2 qt. depending on model).
