Additional access to the alternator can be obtained in a number of ways:
- Removing the lock carrier. Service and Repair
- Removing the air filter housing, loosening the motor mount and slightly raising the motor.

Caution! Damage to wiring and hoses may occur if stretched or pulled tight while raising motor.

4 - Socket head bolt M8 x 28
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)

5 - Generator (GEN)

6 - Voltage regulator
- When replacing remove and install items -9-, - 8-, -7-

7 - Phillips- head screws M4 x 25

8 - Cover

9 - Phillips- head screws

10 - Ribbed belt

11-Socket head bolt M8 x 30
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)

12 - Socket head bolt M8 x 38
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)

13 - Socket head bolt M8 x 20
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
