Coding is only possible when using a new control module.
- Connect Scan Tool (ST).
- Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD). On Board Diagnosis (OBD) For Airbag, Initiating
- Switch printer on via Print -button (indicator lamp in button illuminates).
Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 illuminates continuously.

If code number entered is not accepted by control module, a notification of a malfunction
appears in display and entered, not accepted code number, e.g. 00200 is displayed:

In this case, control module was not programmed with data required for vehicle. Coding is not possible then. Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 does not go out and illuminates continuously. It must be determined whether control module appropriate to vehicle was installed (compare part number and letter index) or whether incorrect code number was entered.
