Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Memory, Erasing and Ending Output

Requirements
- DTC memory has been checked

NOTE: For scan tool connection instructions refer to Connecting and Selecting Function under Scan Tool Operation.

- Indicated on display:

Select function XX


1. Press buttons -0- and -5- to select the "Erase DTC Memory" function 05.

- Indicated on display:

2. Press -Q- button to confirm input.

IF THE FOLLOWING IS:
- Indicated on display:

Rapid data transfer
DTC memory is erased


THEN:
3. Press right ARROW button and proceed to End Output. Function 06-End Output

OR, IF THE FOLLOWING IS:

- Indicated on display:

Attention!
DTC Memory is not interrogated


- The OBD test sequence is faulty, DTC's were not completely read.
- Re-check for stored DTC's. Function 02-Check DTC Memory
- Follow the program sequence exactly.
