Spark Plug: Service and Repair

1991 Volkswagen Jetta L4-1984cc 2.0L DOHCSECTION Service and Repair
1. Remove the spark plug wire.
2. Remove the spark plug.
3. Adjust the gap of new plug with a suitable gapping tool to the following specification:

0.027 - 0.035 in. (0.7 - 0.9 mm)

4. Reinstall spark plug. Use some anti-seize compound on the threads and torque to:

15 ft.lb. (20 Nm)

5. Reconnect spark plug wire.
