Subject: NEW PROGRAM CARD - VAG 1551 AUTOMATIC SHIPMENT AT-108 MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Technical changes, new products and components necessitate a new program card, USA/2 for the FAULT READOUT UNIT VAG 1551.
The new card contains programming information that will enhance and expand current fault readout capabilities. The basic changes are explained on a two page outline, supplied with the program card, all other functions will be covered in future repair manual supplements. Please familiarize your personnel with the outline to prevent inaccurate readouts.
To ensure exchange of cards in all testers within a set time frame, dealers will receive the new card through their District Service Managers, who will personally install it. Updates are scheduled to commence during the week of October 22, 1990.
