DTC P062F-44: Internal Control Module EEPROM Data Memory Failure [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

2025 Toyota Highlander XLE, FWDSECTION Procedure
  1. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P062F-44) 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Powertrain > Transmission > Clear DTCs 

      HINT: 

      Write down the currently output DTCs before clearing them.

    2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute.
    3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
    4. Read the DTCs using the GTS.

      Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTC P062F-44 is output B

    Result: 

    CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2019 - ]

  2. REPLACE ECM 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2023 - ]
