Removal [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

2025 Toyota Highlander Limited, FWDSECTION Procedure
  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [10/2022 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [11/2023 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE

  3. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

      1. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  4. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
