2025 Toyota Highlander Limited, FWDSECTION Procedure
  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
  3. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE ECM

      1. Rotate the 3 levers while pushing the locks, and disconnect the 3 ECM connectors.
        NOTE:

        After disconnecting the ECM connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connectors.

      2. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and ECM.
        NOTE:

        If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
