HINT:
- After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.
Refer to UTILITY [11/2023 - ]
- When clearing the permanent DTCs, refer to the "CLEAR PERMANENT DTC" procedure.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2023 - ]
- Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.
- Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
- Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.
- Drive the vehicle on urban roads for approximately 10 minutes. [*1]
HINT:
- This DTC may not be stored if the vehicle is stopped or being driven at a constant speed.
- [*1]: Normal judgment procedure.
The normal judgment procedure is used to complete DTC judgment and also used when clearing permanent DTCs.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Utility / All Readiness.
- Check the DTC judgment result.
HINT:
- If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
- If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
- If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform the normal judgment procedure again.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
