Rear Power Window RH Auto Up / Down Function does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH [11/2022 - ]: Procedure

2025 Toyota Corolla Cross XLE, FWDSECTION Procedure
  1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (AUTO UP / DOWN FUNCTION) 
    1. Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly RH (for rear RH door).

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2021 - ]

    2. Check that the rear RH door power window moves when the auto up and down functions of the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) are operated.

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2021 - ]

      OK

      Rear RH door auto up and down functions are normal.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    END (PROBLEM DUE TO INITIALIZATION FAILURE)

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Door)) 
    1. Disconnect the M2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M2-4 (AUTO) - M3-8 (AUTO) Always Below 1 Ω
      M2-4 (AUTO) or M3-8 (AUTO) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Door) 
    1. Connect the M2 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      M3-8 (AUTO) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
