2025 Toyota 4Runner SR5, RWDSECTION Procedure
  1. INSPECT FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR LH 

    Pre-procedure1

    • w/ Cover:
      1. Remove the No. 2 engine under cover assembly.

        HINT: 

        Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

    • Disconnect the No. 4 ventilation hose from the front engine mounting insulator LH.
    • Connect a vacuum pump to the front engine mounting insulator LH.

    • Apply negative pressure of 80 kPa (600 mmHg, 23.6 in.Hg) absolute pressure and wait for 1 minute.

      Standard

      Vacuum pressure holds.

    • Check if fluid leak from the front engine mounting insulator LH.

      Standard

      No fluid leak found.

    • If the result is not as specified, replace the front engine mounting insulator LH.

    Post-procedure1

    • Disconnect the vacuum pump.
    • Connect the No. 4 ventilation hose to the front engine mounting insulator LH.
    • w/ Cover:
      1. Install the No. 2 engine under cover assembly.

        HINT: 

        Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49

  2. INSPECT FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR RH 

    Pre-procedure1

    • w/ Cover:
      1. Remove the No. 2 engine under cover assembly.

        HINT: 

        Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

    • Disconnect the ventilation hose from the front engine mounting insulator RH.
    • Connect a vacuum pump to the front engine mounting insulator RH.
