When all of the following conditions are completed for approx. 3.5 seconds or longer
  • Accelerator opening 56.542°or more
  • STP signal is turned ON
  • Vehicle speed is over 40 km/h (25 mph)
  • Accelerator opening rate is not abnormal
  • STP is not abnormal
  • Wheel speed is not abnormal

Abnormal condition:
  • The accelerator opening command value after correction of the brake override system for control is excessively output more than the accelerator opening command value after correction of the monitoring brake override system

Abnormal period:
  • More than 1 second

Number of trips:
  • 1 trip

Detection method:
  • Constant monitor

Sensors/component parts used for detection:
  • Accelerator pedal sensor assembly
  • Stop light switch assembly
  • Speed sensor
