2025 Toyota 4Runner SR5, 4WDSECTION Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Cover)
- for 1Motor-HEV Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
- for Gasoline Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- for 1Motor-HEV Model:
- REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Cover)
- for 1Motor-HEV Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
- for Gasoline Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- for 1Motor-HEV Model:
- REMOVE ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Disconnect the engine oil temperature sensor connector.
- Using SST, remove the engine oil temperature sensor from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
- SST: 09817-33191
NOTE:If the engine oil temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Remove the gasket from the engine oil temperature sensor.
