1. DATA LIST
HINT
Using the Data List displayed by the Techstream, you can read the values of the switches, sensors, actuators and so on without parts removal. Reading the Data List as the first step of troubleshooting is one method of shortening labor time.
NOTICE:
In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.
(a) Warm up the engine.
(b) Turn the ignition switch off.
(c) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(e) Turn the Techstream on.
(f) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / All Data.
(g) In accordance with the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

2. ACTIVE TEST
HINT
Performing the Active Test using the Techstream allows the relay, VSV, actuator and so on to operate without parts removal. Performing the Active Test as the first step of troubleshooting is one method to shorten labor time.
It is possible to display the Data List during the Active Test.
(a) Warm up the engine.
(b) Turn the ignition switch off.
(c) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(e) Turn the Techstream on.
(f) Select the following items: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test.
(g) In accordance with the display on the Techstream, perform the ACTIVE TEST.
Engine and ECT
*: Activate the Solenoid (SLT) in the Active Test is performed to check the line pressure changes by connecting SST to the automatic transaxle, which is used in the HYDRAULIC TEST Hydraulic Test as well.
HINT
The pressure values in Active Test and HYDRAULIC TEST are different from each other.
