2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly Removal.

5. REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL OUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

7. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH HOSE Removal

9. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY Removal

11. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 3 wire harness clamps.





(b) Disconnect the 6 ignition coil connectors.





(c) Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coils.





12. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

(a) Remove the 6 spark plugs.
