Power Steering Pressure Switch: Description and Operation
1998 Suzuki Esteem GLX Sedan Plus L4-1.6LSECTION Description and Operation
This signal is sent from the power steering pressure switch. The power steering pressure switch is installed on the power steering pump body. The switch turns ON when the oil pressure is higher than 3500 - 4500 kPa (35 - 45 kg-cm2, 215 - 285 psi). The turning of the steering wheel causes oil pressure to increase. ECM uses it for controlling idle air control valve.
