Quick Cruise Control Check

1990 Subaru XT-6 4WD L6-2.7L SOHCSECTION Quick Cruise Control Check

If you encounter an XT or Loyale where the cruise control will not set, check to see if the horn(s) work. Power for your set and resume switches comes from the battery, through the horns, to the cruise control unit. If the horn(s) are defective, it will interrupt power flow to the cruise control unit and cause the cruise not to set.
