These maintenance documents contain instructions on carrying out maintenance and repair operations on the following model, basic and national version:

The instructions serve as basic documentation for the proper and workmanlike maintenance and repair of vehicles from DaimlerChrysler AG.

The nature in which the operations are described is based on the training standard of a fitter who has completed vocational training and has good knowledge of our products. This level of knowledge is essential for carrying out the described work.

The constant further development and improvement to our vehicles means that slight deviations can occur between the actual technical status of the vehicles and the work descriptions.

DaimlerChrysler AG reserves the right to make alterations and modifications at any time and without prior notice.

In the event of unresolved questions on repair processes, please contact the contact person responsible in the respective national organization. Further information about the breakdown and structure of the work descriptions and the meaning of the symbols (logos) can be found in the Workshop Information System (WIS).

Also no reference is made on the SERVICE SHEET/Maintenance service for maintenance operations which are not described.

When to See a Mechanic

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
