EVAP Control System Diagnostic Procedure

2002 Saturn SL1 L4-1.9L SOHC VIN 8SECTION EVAP Control System Diagnostic Procedure
The enhanced Evaporative System Diagnostic is a precise series of eight operational subtests on the system. In some cases, the failure of only one subtest will end all evaporative system testing; however, in many cases, the on-board system will conduct a series of subtests before storing any DTCs.

The diagnostic codes associated with the system include DTC P0440, P0442, P0446, P0452, P0453, and P01441. Refer to the Computers and Control Systems for further description and fault analysis.
