ABS CONTROL ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL

1. Remove air cleaner housing cover and air induction hose at throttle body.

2. Remove powertrain control module bolts.
3. Disconnect powertrain control module I/P harness electrical connector.
4. Lift powertrain control module from carrier and set aside.
IMPORTANT: Clean all exterior surfaces with brake cleaner.

5. Disconnect control module electrical connector by pulling on lock tab.

6. Remove control module screws.
7. Pull control module straight off of valve assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Align coils on electronic brake and traction control module with valve cores on brake pressure modulator valve assembly and push together.
2. Install and tighten screws.
Torque: Control Module-to-Valve Assembly Screws: 4 - 6 Nm (35 - 53 inch lbs.)

3. Connect electrical connector and push in tab to lock.

4. Install powertrain control module to carrier.
5. Connect powertrain control module I/P harness electrical connector.
6. Install and tighten PCM attachment bolts.
Torque: PCM Attachment Bolts: 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.)
7. Install air cleaner housing cover and air induction hose.
REMOVAL
1. Remove air cleaner housing cover and air induction hose at throttle body.
2. Remove powertrain control module bolts.
3. Disconnect powertrain control module I/P harness electrical connector.
4. Lift powertrain control module from carrier and set aside.

5. Disconnect control module electrical connector by pulling on lock tab.
6. Remove control module screws.

7. Install air cleaner housing cover and air induction hose.
