Window Regulator Assembly

REMOVAL
IMPORTANT: Do not damage insulator panel when removing regulator.

1. Remove door trim panel. Outer panel is removed in illustration to show location.
2. Remove speaker assembly from door.
3. Partially remove water deflector to access openings in door structure.
4. Remove front door window. If power regulator has failed in the full up position lower window and regulator as an assembly to access window insulator (slide clip) retainer tabs.
5. Remove regulator bolts (four forward and one rear).
6. Disconnect wiring harness connector from regulator, if equipped.
7. Collapse arms of regulator assembly.
8. Use one hand through speaker opening to rotate regulator assembly to a vertical position and slide regulator assembly out of door.
INSTALLATION

1. Slide regulator assembly into door and position regulator with attachment bolts.
Torque: 10 N.m (89 in.lbs.)
2. Install wiring to regulator (if equipped). Raise regulator into position and install bolts.
3. Install window to regulator assembly. Slide sash onto window insulators (slide clips).
4. Install speaker assembly.
5. Install water deflector.
6. Install door trim panel.
