NOTICE:
^ If the transmitter(s) won't work, perform the "RKE SYSTEM CHECK" before replacing the battery. Also, before replacing the battery in the transmitter(s), make sure that the battery is touching both the negative and positive contacts inside the transmitter(s).
^ For battery replacement, use a Panasonic type CR2032, 3-volt battery, or equivalent.
^ Use of the wrong battery size may damage the transmitter. The correct battery can be obtained by calling: Digikey 1-800-344-4539
^ When removing the battery, use care not to touch any of the circuitry. Static from your body transferred to these surfaces may damage the transmitter.

REPLACEMENT
1. Use a small coin, or flathead screwdriver, to separate bottom of transmitter from top.
2. Remove battery and replace with new battery.
3. Make sure positive (+) side of battery faces down.
4. Snap top and bottom sides of transmitter together.
5. Test the operation of transmitter with the vehicle.

If the transmitter does not work, try synchronizing your transmitter with your remote keyless entry (RKE) module. (Refer to "Resynchronizing Transmitters".)
