Crankshaft Position Sensor.:






REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

CAUTION MAKE SURE THE VEHICLE IS PROPERLY SUPPORTED AND SQUARELY POSITIONED PRIOR TO LIFTING.

2. Jack or raise vehicle.
3. Disconnect electrical connector from CKP sensor.
4. Remove attachment bolt and CKP sensor.

INSTALLATION

1. Lubricate O-ring with clean engine oil.
2. Install CKP sensor in engine block.
3. Install CKP sensor attachment bolt.
- Torque 9 Nm (80 lb in)
4. Connect electrical connector to the CKP sensor. Push in until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
